The company
REGFILTER is a company that designs, produces and markets an exclusive solution for the filtration of large volumes of water.
The company was born from the union of Jorge Gómez and Luis Miguel Muñiz, professionals with extensive experience in projection, construction, management and maintenance of large artificial water surfaces.
The REGFILTER patented technology solution is intended for installation and use by swimming pools, SPAs, water parks, artificial water surfaces and industrial processes that require large water flows.

Work begins on the prototype that will shape the current REGFILTER filters.2017Technology Partner
REGFILTER becomes one of the projects worthy of INNOVA aid from the Government of Cantabria, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), for the construction and testing of the prototype.
Throughout 2017, REGFILTER became a technological partner of one of the largest manufacturing companies for large sports lagoons worldwide, installing a first filter of 200 m³/h Flow (880 US gpm).2019Patent granted

The team
Jorge Gómez
Founding Partner
He has more than 30 years of experience as an installer in swimming pools and water parks, and has worked as manager and construction manager in the construction of large aquatic facilities nationally and internationally. His position as head of maintenance, water and systems at huge water parks gives him extensive knowledge in handling high flow regenerative filters.
He is also responsible for two other patents for the aquatic market from the company Aquatic Sweeper, of which he is CEO: the first autonomous wireless pool cleaner, GNSS technology, for large artificial lagoons, and then the manual pool cleaner for swimming pools and its banks, which joint together suction, filtration and battery in a single unit.
Luis Miguel Muñiz
Founding Partner
This Industrial Technical Engineer and Industrial Organization Engineer has 30 years of experience in sectors as diverse as industrial, mining or naval.
He has designed and directed such important works as the Sant Cugat del Vallés High Performance Center, sports centers and several aquatic facilities, in addition to hundreds of different industrial projects and various projects of R + D + i.
He is currently Technical Director of the industrial engineering company "Automation and Industrial and Environmental Technologies S.L." ATIM S.L. with activity oriented to the elaboration of building and industrial engineering projects, control and development of industrial processes and consultancy in energy management, as well as associate professor in the Nautical and Industrial Engineering schools of the University of Cantabria.
Felipe Lavín
Director
He is an Industrial Technical Engineer and Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Technologies, and in recent years he has been General Director of the Public Company "Environment, Water, Waste and Energy of Cantabria S.A." MARE S.A., in charge of managing waste treatment and the sanitation network throughout the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, among other activities.
